This project is a digital cut-out animation, created in 2008 as part of my thesis for completion of MA degree in Graphic Design. The goal was to achieve a creative combination of Persian classical art, with a modern twist. So I decided to bring the old characters to life, and animate them to advertise a modern product.
I selected an illustration of a manuscript, called "Khamse Nezami" (printed with stone Lithography in 1848). I recreated the characters digitally and animated them as a short film promoting "Nokia" cellphone.
